Text Messaging

The Porterville Adventist Church operates a texting messaging service in order to contact those members of our church who wish to receive alerts for prayer needs.  The message is labeled, PleasePray.

Opt-In
In order to receive these text messages on your cell phone you must specifically request to be included. To opt-in, send the message “PleasePray” (without quotes or space between the words) to [number to be assigned]. If you entered the message successfully you will receive a confirmation text message.

Opt-Out
You may stop receiving the text messages at any time by sending the message “Cancel” or “Stop” (without the quotes) to the texting service number above. You will then be automatically removed from the prayer alerts. If you are having problems you may either email admin@portervilleadventist.org or call Doug at 559-310-7604.

The Porterville Adventist Church respects your privacy and security and will not sell or give your number or other persoal information to anyone, ever.
